This is a very complex topic.  There are flaws in the regulatory process that should (but don’t necessarily) make it vulnerable to attack.  This is an area where you’ll need help from veterans of previous fights and staffers at local, statewide, and often national environmental groups, depending on the issue.  They will help you understand the regulatory and legal underpinning that play out every day in courts, state capitols, and Washington, DC.  With this knowledge, you can become a leader in your community.
